Taboo Tuesday, Big Show, Goldust and Vader?!

First thing’s first. Sorry for not updating this thing in weeks. I was really busy adjusting to University life, exams and a bunch of other shit I won’t get into. But the important thing is that I’m back here now. Anyways, let’s get into it.

This week on Raw we saw the return of Vader and Goldust. I’m a mark for this kind of shit. I love seeing old guys come back even though they’re old and wasted now. I loved it a few weeks ago when we saw Doink face Conway and I loved Homecoming because we got to see Million Dollar Man! But anyways, so we saw Goldust and Vader make a comeback as the “bodyguards” of Jonathan Coachman. So like I said, I loved seeing them back but what the hell was the point? It was so random seeing goldust back with The Coach. What do Goldust and Vader have to do with Stone Cold? It was useless but I still enjoyed the segment. I’ve always been a huge fan of Goldust and I look at him as never getting what he deserved. He looked great, he looked the same as he did a few years back and I look forward to seeing if he’s back for good. But Vader, oh man, I can’t say the same for him. He has the biggest beer belly I’ve ever seen and he looks so out of shape. And, how funny was it when he got out of the ring and he fell straight on his ass! I laughed my ass off. I’ve always hated The Coach but I gotta give him props here because he didn’t laugh when he saw that. If I was in Coach’s place and I saw a 400 pound man fall flat on his ass I would’ve fallen on my ass laughing so hard! So let’s move on.

One thing to mention: Everytime I see Goldust I can’t get the vision of Goldust wearing bra and panties in his match against Rowdy Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania XII.

Raw is getting better as the weeks go by, but I can’t really say that for the weeks leading up to Taboo Tuesday. They spent the better of the last 2 weeks convincing us what to vote for on Taboo Tuesday. They don’t really give us a choice of what to vote for, they pretty much make our mind up for us. Who would vote for a verbal debate or a “1 fall to a finish” match? Anyways, WWE must think their fans are stupid to pull something like that over us.

It’s good to see the McMahons back on TV. They always have something up their sleeve that makes the show a little more interesting.

Last time I checked John Cena was a little rapping white boy that wrestles not some huge monstrous Superman that destroys everyone in his path. So why does the WWE make it seem that way? Does Cena always have Vince’s cock in his mouth?(I thought that was Angle with his marble mouth) Cena is a chump. Yes he’s a good wrestler but I’m fed up of seeing him champion. At Taboo Tuesday it was Cena vs. Angle vs. Michaels. Now, how could Cena come out of that still champion? If I was Angle I would be bitching my ass off and probably do the same thing Christian did. I understand Michaels wouldn’t be so pissed cause his time is long gone but Angle needs that belt. Angle could easily carry Raw and his matches are so much more interesting than Cena’s. Also, think about: Would you rather see Cena vs. HHH or Angle vs. HHH at the main event at Wrestlemania? I think this is as clear as black and white. WWE what are you thinking? Move on shall we?

This week we also saw the departure of Chrisitan. There is an interview on WWE.com stating that the departure was made on good terms and all this other bullshit. I think the outcome would’ve been a little different if Christian was in the title picture. Sure he has other things going on in his life and touring 300 days a year with the WWE for 8 years has taken a toll but if Christian was facing someone for the title he would’ve definitely thought twice before not signing the new contract. Either way, WWE lost a huge talent this week. Will TNA capitalize on WWE’s loss? We’ll have to see. Anyways, I wish Christian the best of luck in the future with whatever he chooses.

What is it with Canadian wrestlers leaving the WWE. I think Vince hates Canadians. First Lance Storm, then Jericho and now Christian. Who’s next? Benoit? I don’t doubt it.

So it was Kane and Show vs. Murdoch and Cade for the belts at Taboo Tuesday. WWE screwed this one up in my opinion. Kane and Show are the new Tag Team champions and that leaves Murdoch and Cade looking like 2 pieces of shit. Murdoch and Cade could’ve saved the tag team division but of course WWE has to go put the titles on 2 singles performers who have no story lines. In my opinion, the right thing to do would’ve been for Murdoch and Cade to retain the titles because of a fuck up by Show and Kane. Show would’ve gotten pissed off at Kane and the 2 would’ve began slugging it out. Show would’ve came off as a heel in this one. They could’ve done something really violent to really make this storyline good. Kane vs Show at he next few PPVs and Show would be a monster heel. I think this is why no one cares about Show. They don’t see him as athreat, he is just a friendly giant. Who wants to see that? I wasn’t to see a giant destroying everything in its path. Cars, tables, wrestlers, divas, McMahons and whoever else he sees fit. They need to make Big Show an unstoppable giant. Just my opinion Vince, don’t get your undies in a bunch alright!?

KoRn’s Twisted Transistor provided the music for Taboo Tuesday! The reason I’m mentioning this is because KoRn is my favorite band and I suggest everyone to check out their new album “See You on the Other Side” on December 6th. It’s gonna rock the shit!

All praise for Joey Styles. Hopefully he will be the new voice of Raw. I’ve only heard good things about him at Taboo Tuesday and only good things can come from him in the future.

Overall, from what I have heard Taboo Tuesday was an evening where all the faces won. That kind of sucks for a PPV but so be it I guess. Another thing that kind of sucked was all the changes they made right before the PPV. Stone Cold not showing up because of an “accident” (more to come on this in the future) and Batista taking his place. Edge getting hurt and Snitsky taking his palce. No offense to Batista at all and no offense to Snitsky (okay, maybe a little bit of offense to Snitsky) but I think people would rather see Stone Cold over Batista and Edge over Snitsky. Stone Cold sells PPVs and that’s a fact and I think a lot of people ordered this PPV because of Stone Cold. If they did then they got ripped off. Not sure what people’s reactions would be and if any one who reads this is in this situation let me know how you feel.

Umm, not sure what else to talk about. I think I’ll end it here this time. Hopefully my updates will be more frequent and again sorry for not updating in while. Look back for more updates soon.

Don’t forget, leave me your comments, questions , anything. I’ll be happy to hear from you.

Until then…

Piss off and leave me alone. Peace.

Masters, Ric Flair, Stone Cold, Cade and Murdoch and more

Alright so i'm back with another critique of the world we call the WWE. So here we go. I'm gonna keep this in short little paragraphs this time so I don't bore you guys too much.

This week we saw the debut of Cade and Murdoch against the tag team champs in a non-title match. So far I like what I see. Cade is pretty talented, just like he was before and Murdoch is pretty damn good too. He has a pretty old school look which I think is a good change from today's Lex Luger wannabes(Masters?) I hope these guys develop into something really good. I already hope they take the belts off those jokes we call the tag team champions.

In my opinion they should've kept Hardy and Edge off TV for a week to sell their injuries. Instead they put him in a stupid match with Snitsky. Basically this match was just to sell the feud between Snitsky and Show. Snitsky ran away like a fucking pansy after he hit Hardy with the bell. Does anyone remember when Snitsky was fearless, abusive and sadistic? It seems to me that he's the complete opposite now. Isn't that classic WWE though...

So, it's gonna be HBK versus Chris Masters at Unforgiven. This is wrong in so many ways. Let's get one thing straight. I like Chris Masters. All my friends hate him and i'm always the one defending his ass in conversations but let's get things straight. Sure, give him a push but don't push him over the edge. They're making this guy face arguabley the best performer ever in a WWE ring at Unforgiven. Come on, I think they are making Masters bite off more than he can chew. He is still green and he definitely needs some work. His body is great but his mic skills and in-ring skills still need some fine tuning. It definitely isn't his time to be facing HBK yet. In my opinion they should've continued his feud with Big Show. That was good and fun to watch for the 2 weeks it lasted. Apparently Big Show wasn't very happy about the fact that they cancelled the feud either. I don't blame the guy. They got him facing Snitsky now. I see a lot less potential in Big Show vs Snitsky than I do in Big Show vs Masters. At the PPV, either Masters is going to go over big time or HBK will get the win making Masters look like a damn loser. Once again classic WWE... I guess we'll have to wait and see. My prediction is HBK breaks the Masterlock and gets the win. Hopefully this feud doesn't last past the PPV. Masters doesn't deserve this push yet and HBK deserves to feud with someone better than a person of Masters' caliber.

I think Kerwin White is pretty damn funny with his golf cart and all. It's hilarious to watch him coming down the ramp, snapping his fingers and waving to the crowd. Damn he makes me piss my pants. Give Chavo, uggh, I mean Kerwin a push damnit! Do I smell a Kerwin vs Shelton feud? I think that can be pretty good actually. Both have great in ring skills. Hopefully WWE pulls out all the stops for this one.

Another thing I hope is that Angle beats the shit out of Cena at the PPV. Then we could have a real entertainer/wrestler carry the number 1 promotion of the company. Cena is a mid carder, face it!

Damn Ashlee is hot and you know what, I think she's better on the mic than Torrie Wilson is and how long has she been with the company? Torrie Wilson is nice to look at and all, but to quote a great wrestler, "SHUT THE HELL UP!".

Raw will be jumping back to the USA network on OCT. 3 and it set to be a 3 hour long event! It starts at 8:00 instead of 9:00. Many names are set to be returning including Hulk Hogan(don't get me started on this fucker grrrr.), Stone Cold, Mick Foley and Triple H. It should be interesting to see if Mick Foley and Stone Cold are here to stay. I hope they are. Stone Cold and Mick Foley equal ratings!

I also hope Ric Flair will get his first Intercontinental Title run beginning next Sunday at Unforgiven. I seriously doubt they will make Carlito beat Ric Flair considering Ric Flair has never won the IC belt. I like they way this story line is going by the way. Anything that involves Ric Flair is always entertaining. Him wrestling with a damn bandage on his head was priceless. Flair grabbing Carlito by the balls was equally priceless! Will this match lead into the Ric Flair, Triple H feud? I don't see why not. I can maybe see Carlito and Triple H joining forces to make the new Evolution or something like that. I don't know, my friends always tell me i'm a little exaggerated in my predictions but hey you never know what can happen in the WWE... Can't a man dream damnit?!

Alright so I think i'll end it here for this time. Guys, please leave your comments. I'd love to hear what you guys think. You can also email me at madrattlesnake1@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

So put this damn page into your favorites and check back next week for some more ranting.

Until then...

Piss off and leave me alone! Peace.

Matt Hardy, Jericho, Tag Team Division, Angle

I would like to talk about a few things this week. A great superstar returned to be a jobber, a great superstar left for music, the current tag team division and an Olympic gold medalist. Let's get right to it.

Is Vince pissed off at Matt Hardy? Well, it sure seems like it. The first few weeks he was back he was cutting great promos, they almost sounded like shoots, and they hyped him up to be bigger than almost anything at Summerslam this year. Then, on the night of Summerslam, he and Edge go out there and wrestle (or fight, whichever you prefer) a 6-minute brawl? First off, Matt Hardy looked like a fucking bloody piñata in that match. He was getting kicked in the face, punched, you name it, Matt got it. Now, if you're gonna bring him back into the company, at least do something right for him. Vince, the poor guy refused an offer to work with his brother Jeff Hardy at TNA where they could've both been big stars. I think Matt Hardy is talented (more than lots of the guys on the roster right now) and I think he has alot of heart and I think he deserves another chance in the WWE. Edge should've been pissing blood at Summerslam and he should've been massacred if they wanted Matt Hardy to look even a little credible. Now he just looks like a regular mid carder who hypes everyone up and who can't win a damn match. You still don't think so, well here let's move on to the day after Summerslam, August 22. Matt Hardy was scheduled in a match against Conway. Now if you didn't know, apparently Vince has plans for Mr. Conway and is trying to push him big time. Matt Hardy just lost a match at Summerslam and know they are making him face a guy they are trying to push? This is a recipe for disaster. You can't have 2 guys who are trying to be pushed face each other, it doesn't work. One of them will have to lose the match and that guy will look like a chump. In this situation, Matt Hardy already looks like a jobber after his horrible loss the night before at Summerslam and another loss for him will make him look worse than the shit stains in Mick Foley's underwear. A loss for Conway will make him look bad as they are trying to build up his character and he needs to win matches. This is why I thought it was a bad idea to have Matt face Conway in the first place. It's a lose-lose situation, but anyways, of course the booking team at the WWE goes along with their plans and sets up the match. Anyways the outcome of the match had Conway pick up the win over Matt Hardy. Once again, Matt Hardy loses and looks like crap. Jesus Christ Vince, are you trying to make matt Hardy's life miserable? Are you pissed off at him or something? Look, in my opinion Matt Hardy has dedication, passion and love for the business. He also has the mat skills and the mic skills to become bigger than what he has been in the last few weeks. The writers and Vince McMahon need to wake up and realize it when talent slaps them in the face.

This week's Raw had Matt face Edge in a street fight. Surprisingly, this match stole the show as it was violent and an overall good match. Both wrestlers fought well and the ending was actually good. Matt Hardy and Edge both went flying into a huge heap of electrical cords after Matt Hardy delivered the Side Effect to Edge. Are they finally waking up? Who knows where they'll go with this. If they want to give any credibility to Hardy, they should keep Edge off TV for a few weeks and have Matt still be on. Hopefully something good will come of this cause this might actually be Matt Hardy's last chance. If this doesn't work for him, he may be main-eventing Heat in the near future with Val Venis. Uggghh, Val Venis, how they ruined him....... but that is another story for another time.

Last week was also the last time we saw (at least for a while) one of the greatest entertainers/wrestlers the business has ever known; Chris Jericho. Jericho has decided to take some time off to tour with his heavy metal band Fozzy. He said he is done with wrestling for now but he will be back. Chris Jericho has left on good terms with the WWE and he also said that the WWE is his home and if he were to return to wrestling it would be in a WWE ring, nowhere else. He went as far as to call it his home. He also mentioned that he had and still has a great relationship with Vince McMahon. This can only lead to good things down the line.

The way they have been treating Chris the last few months has been horrible. He hasn't been main-eventing anything for a while and right when he actually does start main-eventing, he leaves. Everyone who has the internet or reads news and rumors on the internet knew he was leaving the WWE for a while before his match with Cena at Summerslam. This made the outcome of his match predictable and it made the match a little boring to watch. The next night on Raw, mysteriously, Bischoff decides to have a "You're Fired" match. I wonder who would lose that one? They could've made him depart from the WWE in a better way. Maybe something like him being pissed off at Bischoff and leaving and maybe sometime in the future returning to Smackdown. Yea yea I know what you're saying, Smackdown sucks and it's a second rate show. I agree but who wouldn't love to see Jericho vs Benoit? It definitely beats Benoit vs Orlando Boredom.

Well, whichever way things turned out, I would like to take this time to thank Chris Jericho for all of the great matches he had for us and I would like to wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do. He will be missed.

The picture above was taken at a music store in downtown Montreal the day WWE Raw was in Montreal (August 15th). Chris Jericho was signing autographs between 12:00 and 2:00.

Alright, on to some more ranting. This has been really pissing me off, almost more than John Cena being the champion. The fucking tag-team division, or the lack there of. Remember back in the day when the tag team division was literally bursting with talent. LOD, The Headshrinkers, Michaels and Diesel, The Rockers, The Acolytes and of course The New Age Outlaws. They didn't make the title what it is today. They gave those belts credibility and honor. Now those titles are a joke and most people don't even know who the damn champs are. Some people just don't want to know. For anyone who is wondering, the Raw champs are Hurricane and Rosey; 2 of the biggest jokes in the WWE. They aren't entertaining to watch at all and they definitely need a new gimmick. And the Smackdown champs are, are you ready? Heidenreich and Animal from LOD. HORRIBLE. What are they thinking of making Heidenrich a champion with one of the greatest tag tam champions to step foot in the ring. Hedenrich is so horrible he shouldn't even be in developmental talent, let alone the WWE. I'm not even sure how they convinced Animal to team up with that loser Hedenrich in the first place. I guess Vince's money talks. To say the least, the tag team division is in the shitter. I'm not sure why Vince and his team have decided to take this direction but it pisses me off. I miss seeing great tag team matches like they had back in the day. The New Age Outlaws entertained like crazy and they put on good shows. Hurricane and Rosey don't. What is it with the WWE taking singles superstars that have nothing at all going for them and teaming them up hoping for the best. NEWSFLASH: If you sucked as a singles performer you're going to suck as a tag team performer because chances are your partner will be just as shitty as you. I'm not dissing anyone's talent at all, i'm just saying that's not how you create good tag teams. Laugh if you want, but that's why I like the Heart Throbs. They joined the WWE as a tag team and have remained so. They have the same style and same gimmick. They rarely or never have 1-on-1 matches with anyone, they are always facing the other tag team. And when I say "the other" I really mean that, there is just one other tag team on Raw and unfortunately they are the champions. How horrible is that? 2 tag teams on Raw. Hurricane and Rosey have no other teams to face. Anyways, the Heart Throbs are what a tag team should be. With a little more practice in ring and maybe some mic time I think these guys can be something. Probably nowhere near those other tag teams mentioned above but at least better than Hurricane and Rosey.

In the near future we will be seeing Murdoch and Cade, who all-of-a-sudden's first name is Lance? What's up with that? Who knows how good these guys can be. Their promos aren't intimidating, funny or serious. I'm not sure what they are but I guess we'll just have to wait how much of an impact these guys make in the WWE. All I can say is that Hurricane and Rosey have got to lose the damn belts and soon and Vincent Kennedy McMahon and his crew have got to realize and do something about this damn tag team division.

My last little opinion will be short and sweet. Kurt Angle is what the WWE should be. This guy is incredible. After a devastating injury to his neck, he came back and is still kicking ass only he knows how. In my opinion, no one can even touch this guy except for HBK. Kurt Angle is one of the greats already. His matches are spectacular, entertaining and intense. His promos could funny as hell or very serious. He has it all. He can proably have a good feud with anyone and he's not afraid to make the other guy look good. He sells the moves so well and executes his own with style and grace. Quite frankly he makes it look easy. You know that when you see a Kurt Angle match, you know that he will be giving 110% (how the fuck can you give 110% anyway?).

This is true for Cena too, but it's not Cena's time. He still needs to mature and in my eyes he is not a credible force yet. His gimmick is kind of lame (most people don't seem to think so though). Here's the thing, Cena has great mic skills, pretty good in-ring skills and he does have a great attitude backstage. I like Cena as a wrestler and and I see him as a mid-carder for now, and a main-eventer later. He's too green to be champion. I also see Kurt Angle caring Raw a helluva lot more than I see Cena carrying Raw. What do you think? Point is, I hate Cena as champion, I boo the shit out of him everytime, and why? Because he's the damn champ. He should lose the WWE belt and go after Carlito's Intercontinental belt. Now that's a match I would like to see.

So there's my first update. Don't expect them all to be this long. It took me forever to write this damn thing but I said everything I have to say. Let me know what you think. I'll be back with another update soon. Until then...

Piss off and leave me alone! Peace.
